2020 FIELD RESEARCH: Smart-City models and Civic Technology in Taiwan, Israel and Estonia.
This article is a presentation of the second part of my doctorate degree thesis, consisting in ground investigations over my case study cities in Asia, Middle-East and North-Eastern Europe. It is the direct following of the presentation of the first part of my thesis “Stakeholder Engagement in Smart-City : Participatory governance in urban complexity” which introduced the concept definitions, the problematic and the methodology used for my research.
My work is destined in priority to urban professionals at all levels or insiders which experience a growing complexity in urban project management. I aim to enlighten the sorely needed practice of balanced network initiatives as a leadership in Smart-City planning. While urban demography increases to unprecedented levels, promoting social acceptability and understanding of the urbanization projects is the first priority to prevent oppositions, bad faith, vandalism or widely any hostile attitudes from either stakeholder that will impact the whole inhabitants.
